Chinese coach Lang Ping: “We are happy to reach the third round after winning tough battles. Our target is to show our volleyball and evolve the team further. The Japan players are good at setting and ball control. We look forward to competing with them.“
Italian coach Davide Mazzanti: “We are happy to be in the final six. We are happy to take on the challenge of the world’s strongest teams. Our team is in good condition.”
Japanese coach Kumi Nakada: “So far we have had a lot of experience and learned little by little. We will fight as one to achieve in this round.”
Dutch coach Jamie Morrison: “It has been a long hard journey to get to the final six. I am proud of my team. It has continued to improve in the last two years. We are ready for the challenge.”
Serbian coach Zoran Terzic: “The world championships are practically starting now. It has been a long trip. It will be difficult to make the semifinals. We will do our best in the final six to advance to the semifinals.”
USA coach Karch Kiraly: “This is the most difficult to win among the major international events. We are all looking forward to the challenge that comes in the next matches.”
