VNL F6 W: Drews named MVP, 3 from USA and 3 from Brazil in tournament’s lineup

At the end of the 2019 FIVB Women’s Volleyball Nations League final between the USA and Brazil in Nanjing (China), that went into the favor of the North American side, the International Volleyball Federation has presented individual awards to conclude the Final Six.

The USA’s opposite hitter Andrea Drews was named the Most Valuable Player of the 2019 VNL. She made a huge impact in the final against Brazil but also throughout the entire tournament which she finished as the No.1 spiker with 48.2% attack success rate.

The 2019 FIVB Women’s Volleyball Nations League individual awards:

Best Outside Spiker 1 – Liu Yanhan (China)

Best Outside Spiker 2 – Gabriela Guimarães “Gabi” (Brazil)

Best Middle Blocker 1 – Ana Beatriz Corrêa “Bia” (Brazil)

Best Middle Blocker 2 – Haleigh Washington (USA)

Best Opposite Hitter – Ebrar Karakurt (Turkey)

Best Setter – Macris Carneiro (Brazil)

Best Libero – Megan Courtney (USA)

MVP – Andrea Drews (USA)
