VNL M: Japan earns 5-set victory over Italy

Japan once again proved to be among contenders for the Final Four of the 2021 FIVB Men’s Volleyball Nations League.

Even though it is the impression that Italy did not exploit all its opportunities, Japan’s victory on Day 8 of the 2021 Men’s VNL is highly deserved: 3-2 (21-25, 25-22, 22-25, 25-15, 15-9).

Two players pulled the Asian side ahead tonight and had a joint match-high 19 points – Yuki Ishikawa and Ran Takahashi. Haku Ri made 83.3 % attack (10/12)
