The Pool stage of the Girls U18 World Championship in Mexico has been completed.
The best 4 teams from each Pool advance to the round of 16. The winners of the playoffs will advance to the quarterfinals, semifinals and finals, which will be classified from 1st to 8th place, while the losers in the playoffs will play the classification matches, with a similar system of quarterfinals, semifinals and finals, from 9th to 16th place.
This is the fourth time that 20 teams participate in the competition since the tournament was expanded in 2013. Only 16 teams participated in all previous editions.
