The conclusion of Pool 3 in Hong Kong was marked by impressive victories from the Netherlands, Turkey, and Italy.

In the day’s opener, the Netherlands swept past Bulgaria with a straight-sets victory (26-24, 25-17, 25-17).

Next in line was Turkey, who concluded their second week with a 3-1 win over the Dominican Republic. The match, held at the Hong Kong Coliseum, saw the Turkish team clinch set scores of 23–25, 19–25, 25–23, and 20–25. The highlight of the match was Melissa Vargas from Turkey, who emerged as the top scorer with a whopping 29 points.

The day wrapped up with a thrilling match featuring Italy, who triumphed over the host team, China, in a nerve-wracking tiebreak (23-25, 25-23, 18-25, 25-22, 15-12). This marked Italy’s fourth consecutive victory, crucial in their journey towards the Finals. The Italian squad demonstrated an impressive mix of character, skill, and enthusiasm in this nail-biter, securing their fourth tiebreak win out of five matches.
