Poland’s city of Łódź has been chosen to host the Volleyball Nations League (VNL) Men’s Finals in 2024 edition. This event, marking the sixth edition of the tournament, will take place from June 27-30 at the Atlas Arena. The 13,000-seat venue is no stranger to high-profile volleyball events, having previously hosted the FIVB Volleyball Men’s and Women’s World Championships, among other prestigious tournaments. The selection of Łódź follows Poland’s successful hosting of the 2023 VNL Finals in Gdańsk, where the Polish team emerged victorious.
In 2024, the Polish team will be looking to defend their title on home soil, benefiting from the support of local fans and an automatic spot in the tournament’s decisive phase. They will face stiff competition from the top seven national teams of the Preliminary Phase, held across six countries from May 21 to June 23.
The VNL 2024 will feature 16 national teams, including Argentina, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Cuba, France, Germany, Iran, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Poland, Serbia, Slovenia, Türkiye, and the United States. The Finals will adopt a single elimination format, beginning with the quarterfinals and culminating in the medal matches.
