As the Volleyball Nations League Preliminary Phase nears its conclusion, fans were treated to intense matches. Japan’s remarkable comeback from two sets down led by Yuki Ishikawa, resulted in a 3-2 victory over France. Ishikawa scored 33 points, pushing Japan to fifth place.

The USA kept their Finals hopes alive with a 3-1 win against Germany, thanks to Matthew Anderson’s 23 points. They need a win against Japan on Sunday to qualify.

Canada triumphed over the Netherlands in a five-set thriller, despite Nimir Abdel-Aziz’s 37 points for the Dutch. Canada now looks forward to the Finals in Lodz.
