Youth Volleyball Stars Set to Shine on the Global Stage
The stage is set for the 19th edition of the FIVB Volleyball Girls’ U19 World Championship, launching on Wednesday, July 2, and running through Sunday, July 13, across two vibrant European hosts—Osijek, Croatia, and Vrnjačka Banja, Serbia.

Over the next 12 days, 24 elite national youth teams will clash in an intense journey to volleyball greatness, representing continents and cultures united by a passion for the sport.
Opening Day Matches
Four matches will kick off the championship simultaneously at 15:15 local time (13:15 UTC):
- Osijek (Croatia):
- Egypt vs. Canada (Pool A)
- Bulgaria vs. Poland (Pool C)
- Vrnjačka Banja (Serbia):
- Argentina vs. Puerto Rico (Pool B)
- Japan vs. Belgium (Pool D)
Pool Composition Breakdown
Each team competes in one of four pools during the first five competition days:
- Pool A: Canada, Croatia, Egypt, Germany, Mexico, Thailand
- Pool B: Argentina, Brazil, Chinese Taipei, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Serbia
- Pool C: Bulgaria, Peru, Poland, Spain, Türkiye, USA
- Pool D: Belgium, Chile, China, Italy, Japan, Tunisia
The top four teams per pool will advance to the eighthfinals, while the remaining teams will enter the placement playoffs to determine rankings from 17th to 24th.
