In the night’s headline clash, Yuki Ishikawa and Ran Takahashi returned to the court in style, combining for 41 points to lift Japan to a 3-1 comeback win over Germany (21-25, 25-20, 25-23, 25-20) in front of a packed home crowd. Ishikawa starred with 22 points, while Takahashi added 19, helping Japan rise to third in the standings.
Earlier, Team USA put on a dominant display against Türkiye, cruising to a 3-0 sweep (26-24, 25-21, 25-19). Gabi Garcia led the charge with 15 points as the Americans pushed into eighth place, keeping their Finals hopes alive.
Brazil also flexed their strength, overcoming Argentina 3-1 (25-21, 25-23, 24-26, 25-18) in a high-energy South American derby, maintaining their position atop the VNL table.
