The Netherlands earned their second straight victory at the 2025 FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship in Thailand, sweeping Egypt 3-0 (25-15, 25-13, 25-13) in Bangkok.
With more than 3,000 fans in attendance, the Dutch side controlled every aspect of the match, leading in attack with 44 successful spikes against Egypt’s 25. Nicole Van De Vosse stood out with 12 points and a 77% spiking success rate, while Iris Vos added 10 points. Egypt’s Mariam Metwally Mohamed Morsy (Meeto) led her team with nine points.
In the other Pool A fixture, hosts Thailand thrilled home fans with a 3-0 sweep of Sweden (25-18, 25-20, 25-22).
The Netherlands and Thailand have secured their places in the next stage of the competition, advancing to the Round of 16.
