The group stage of the Volleyball World Championship has officially ended, and all Round of 16 matchups are now confirmed.
In the decisive clash, Poland narrowly escaped Germany in a five-set battle, securing a dramatic win that kept them away from facing powerhouse Italy in the first knockout round. Instead, Poland will take on Belgium, while Germany now faces a tough test against Italy.
I other matchups, Serbia is set to meet the Netherlands, while host Thailand faces Japan. The United States will clash with Canada, Türkiye meets Slovenia, Brazil challenges the Dominican Republic, and China goes up against France.
