Brazil has been confirmed as the host nation for both the 2025 Women’s and Men’s FIVB Volleyball Club World Championships, closing out a remarkable year of elite international volleyball action.

The Women’s Club World Championship will return to São Paulo from December 9–14, marking its first appearance in the city in over three decades. The tournament will feature eight powerhouse clubs from around the world, including Osasco São Cristóvão Saúde (Brazil), Prosecco DOC Imoco Volley Conegliano (Italy), Savino Del Bene Scandicci (Italy), Dentil Praia Clube (Brazil), Club Alianza Lima (Peru), Zamalek Sporting Club (Egypt), and Zhetysu VC (Kazakhstan). The final team is yet to be announced.

Just days later, the spotlight will shift north to Belém, where the Men’s Club World Championship will unfold from December 16–21. The men’s competition will see eight of the globe’s top clubs battle for glory, including Vôlei Renata (Brazil) as hosts, alongside Sir Sicoma Monini Perugia (Italy), Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie (Poland), Sada Cruzeiro (Brazil), Praia Clube (Brazil), Al-Rayyan Sports Club (Qatar), Osaka Bluteon (Japan), and Swehly Sports Club (Libya).
Known for its electric crowds and deep passion for the sport, Brazil remains a natural choice for volleyball’s biggest stages. The country most recently hosted the 2024 Men’s Club World Championship in Uberlândia, drawing sold-out audiences and international praise.
FIVB President Fabio Azevedo emphasized the event’s wider impact, saying, “The Club World Championship is about more than crowning the best clubs in the world – it’s about inspiring the next generation of players and fans.”
Echoing his sentiment, Volleyball World CEO Ugo Valensi noted, “Brazil has always been at the heart of volleyball’s story. Hosting both events here gives us a unique opportunity to showcase the best of our sport while connecting fans across the globe.”
