The U.S. women’s national team continued their strong Volleyball Nations League run with a straight-set victory over Thailand in Osaka, Japan.
The Americans improved to 8-1 and stretched their winning streak to seven matches with a balanced performance. The U.S. held an 8-2 advantage in blocks, led 51-43 in kills.
Jordan Thompson led the U.S. with 17 points, including 12 kills, four blocks and an ace. Avery Skinner added 13 points, while Logan Eggleston recorded10.
Result: United States def. Thailand 3-0 (25-21, 25-18, 25-20).
