Serbia made a confident start to the third week of the Volleyball Nations League, defeating Bulgaria in straight sets at Belgrade Arena.

The home side played without star opposite Tijana Bošković, while captain Maja Ognjenović featured only briefly. Slađana Mirković led the team from the setter position as Serbia produced a balanced and disciplined performance in front of more than 4,000 fans.
Anja Zubić led Serbia with 16 points, while Branka Tica added 13 and Maša Kirov scored 10. Mikaela Stojanova was Bulgaria’s top scorer with 13 points.
Result: Serbia 3-0 Bulgaria (25-16, 25-19, 26-24).
