Thailand controlled the match from start to finish, winning 25-15, 25-16, 25-17 in 71 minutes. Brazil struggled in serve reception throughout the contest, while Thailand built victory on aggressive serving.

The winners finished with 45 attack points, six blocks and nine aces, compared to Brazil’s 33 attacks, four blocks and one ace.

Middle blocker Thatdao Nuekjang starred for Thailand with 15 points, including four serve aces. Kisy Nascimento led Brazil with 11 points, while Lorena Viezel contributed 10.

Brazil briefly threatened a comeback after opening a 7-2 lead in the third set, but Thailand quickly erased the deficit before sealing the straight-sets victory, a result that also secured their place in next year’s VNL.

Despite the defeat, Brazil remains among the tournament leaders with a 9-2 record and will close the preliminary round against the United States.
