1. To move volleyball from group 2 to group 1 in the IOC rankings by 2020
WHAT IS HE GETTING WITH THIS? MORE ECONOMIC SUPPORT FROM IOC?
2. To reach 2 million users on FIVB Digital Platforms by 2016
THE PROBLEM IS NOT THE QUANTITY BUT THE QUALITY PERSONS WITH PASSION FOR VOLLEYBALL. FOLLOWERS CAN BE BOUGHT TO ACIEVE THE TARGET.
3. To increase the cumulative TV audience by 20% in 2016 and by 100% in 2020
THE QUALITY AUDIENCE CAN BE ACHIEVED ONLY WHEN COMMERCIAL STATIONS START TO PLAY VOLLEYBALL. IF THEY CONTINUE TO MAKE CONTRACTS WITH NATIONAL BROADCASTERS WHO ARE OBLIGED TO BUY TV RIGHTS FOR VOLLEYBALL
4. To sign 4 new global sponsors by 2020 with a goal of 10 million per year
SPONSORS WANT TO GET A RETURN FROM INVESTMENT AND MARKETING EXPENCES. I WONDERE WHAT DID HONDA GET FOR THE LATEST CONTRACT WITH FIVB?
5. To grow the average FIVB annual income from 31 million to 66 million by 2020
6. To have a competitive, effective and sustainable bidding process by 2018 for all FIVB main events
START TAKING MONEY FROM THE ORGANISERS AND START TO PAY THEM LIKE THEY DO IN FOOTBALL AND BASKETBALL
7. To make available a TV or internet feed for FIVB key events to all 221 National Federations by 2016
8. To increase the number of licensed/ amateur players by 2018
YOU CAN SIMPLY MAKE RULE THAT SECOND AND THIRD DIVISION PLAYERS MUST BE LICENCED AND THERE YOU HAVE THE INCREASE. START FROM THE WIDE BASE BY MAKING MORE CHILDREN INTERESTED IN VOLLEYBALL, ESPECIALLY MALE CHILDREN. THEY WILL ALL GO TO BASKETBALL OR TENNIS.
9. To become the number 1 sport that serves the needs of humanitarian organizations in their programs
HUM. ORGANIZATIONS FIRST NEED INDIVIDUALS TO PROMOTE BETTER THEIR GOALS. CHANGE FIVB HEROS APPROACH AND THEN THINK ABOUT THE WHOLE ORGANISATION
AND THE MOST IMPORTANT THING, MAKE VOLLEYBALL MORE INTERSECTION TO WATCH AND TO PLAY. THIS IS A STARTING POINT OTHERWISE YOU HAVE ALREADY LOST THE BATTLE WITH FOOTBALL, BASKETBALL, RUGBY, GOLF,….
