After the match Volero Zurich‘s coach Zoran Terzić said: “I told my players that it is important to have patience against the Japanese team. I believe that they have the best defence in the world. When you play against them and if you are not patient in your plays, it is guaranteed that you will lose to them. This was a very interesting game. Our target was to win 3-0 and we did it, but I cannot be satisfied. Our opponent played quick plays and good defence. We played more relaxed today than yesterday.”

On the other side captain Natalya Mammadova said: “This was an important win for us. We played very well. It is hard to play Japanese teams because they play a different style of fast volleyball, but we played well on attack and defence today.”

Her teammate Kenia Carcaces: “I was 19 when I played here. It was my first experience outside the Cuban national team. I learned a lot about volleyball in this country and it’s nice to come back. NEC Red Rockets is quick very quick on offence and defence, which made it hard for us to win.”
