Head coach Nikola Grbić confirmed that the Serbian National Team will be at the full strength and that the opposite Aleksandar Atanasijević is on the roster for the Final Six.

Last year when Serbia won the title, the best opposite of the 2015 World League missed the Final Six because of an injury. This time he hopes that they will repeat the result.

For Serbia, this will be their 13th time that will play in the Final stage of the World League and until now they won only one gold medal, five silver, and three bronze.

Serbia’s squad in Curitiba:

Setters: Nikola Jovovic and Maksim Buculjevic

Opposites: Drazen Luburic and Aleksandar Atanasijevic

Receivers: Uros Kovacevic, Marko Ivovic, Nemanja Petric and Milan Katic

Middle blockers: Marko Podrascanin, Srecko Lisinac, Petar Krsmanovic and Aleksandar Okolic

Liberos: Neven Majstorovic and Goran Skundric.

Serbia are in Pool K in the Finals and they will play against the United States on July 5 and France on July 6.
