GP 2017: Bethania led Dominicans to the first victory

Dominican Republic scored their first victory in this year’s edition of the FIVB World Grand Prix.

Tonight, the Dominican Republic defeated Japan 3-1 (25-20, 25-19, 24-26, 29-27) after long rallies in the third and fourth sets.

 Bethania De La Cruz was the leader of the scorers with 21 points while Yurie Nabeya scored 16 points for Japan.
