Celeste Plak with 21 points led the Netherlands in the victory over Belgium. Dutch girls won 3-0 (25-22, 25-19, 25-21) and on the other side, the top scorer in the Belgian team was Kaja Grobelna with 13 points.

Now The Netherlands are on the second place with 10 points and only one defeat while Belgium are on the bottom without points and win.

Netherlands captain Maret Balkestein – Grothues: “It wasn’t a good game, we made a lot of mistakes, especially at the reception. It was difficult to play, but our block was rather stable, I think we won because of that.”

Belgium captain Charlotte Leys: “It was a disappointing game for us tonight, we didn’t get to our level, we have to think over that match. We have to focus on ourselves and to show a nice game.”
