Alongside with Serbia, the Chinese Women’s National Team triumphed on the Day 1 of the 2017 FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix – Final Six, thrilling the home crowd in Nanjing.

„We are very happy to win this match. We faced many challenges and difficulties because Brazil never gave up in this match. Our reception was not good. Hopefully, we will draw the lesson from this match and gain better results in the future,“ An Jiajie, the successor of legendary China’s coach Lang Ping, said after the match against Brazil in which 2016 Rio Olympics proved to be in a good shape.

„We had great coordination and cooperation today, especially when we were trailing Brazil in the third set. We are happy for this victory,“ Zhu Ting, the captain of the Chinese NT, stated.
