Until now they were three-time winners (2013, 2015, 2016) and the players are confident after a strong preparation, but they also believe that will be the toughest in the history of the competition.

“Our preparation progresses well and we are working hard,” said Cuban-born Yoandy Leal and added:

The team has a winning mentality, always wanting to win. We are confident for Poland, we know how to be champions. Our fans are always very active, close to the team. Even from Brazil, I know they’re going to send a lot of good energy to us all the way to Poland. I hope they send all the positive force possible. If they can watch the broadcasts, comment, send messages to the players, it will be great and will motivate everyone to do much more” said the 29-year-old outside hitter.
