Unlike the last two times, when these teams met each other in the finals, this time, the Brazilian champions and the Russian giant will decide who will enter the gold medal match.
In the previous two editions of the Club Men’s World Championship, they played against each other four times. Sada Cruzeiro have three victories (two in the finals (2016, 2015), and one during the group stage (2016), while Zenit managed to score one win (2015, group stage).
The other pair is Lube Civitanova – PGE Skra Belchatow! In two past meetings, Lube managed to prevail over PGE Belchatow in the Champions League Playoff 12, by winning the game on the away side 3-1 and losing at the home court 2-3.
It’s going to be an opportunity for the Polish side to take a revenge.
Saturday (16.12):
Sada Cruzeiro – Zenit Kazan (time to be defined)
Lube Civitanova – PGE Skra Belchatow (time to be defined)
