Logo for the new FIVB’s competition - Volleyball Nations League has been released.

For the first time, we can see the logo of the new world volleyball competition who will start on May 15 and will last over a month and a half – until July 8.

But shouldn’t the logo represent some volleyball signal or something. Other sports use ball or player or hands or net or something! Also colours are strange, I have never seen any of them in volleyball… But stupid I don’t think they are, they must have spent a lot of money for somebody to make this for the FIVB. I still don’t get the catch. Is there any official statement about this visual solution? I can’t find it
