What is obvious at first sight, not counting the players who struggle with injuries, is that Diatec Trentino opposite Luca Vettori was left out of the squad.

He didn’t play in the regular season, so this is not a surprise decision.
@brazilvolleygirl Vettori played in the regular season, supercoppa, champions league, italian cup and the playoffs. He just had a bad season in Trentino. Please stop spreading fake news!

Vetori did not have a good season. He looks very weak. Italy does not need him as they have the beast called Zaytsev. And they have Sabbi and the promising Nelli.
@Pablo i agree Zaytsev always comes up big when it counts, he is a beast and a fighter
