Tours expected a tough match in Cannes, and it was as such, Cannes won 3:2 (25:21, 13:25, 25:27, 26:24, 15:11).
Christophe Meneau‘s team proved that they have potential. They can play a leading role in the Ligue AM this season.
Pierre Pujol commented: “We are happy. We couldn’t play constantly in the game. Our second set was a disaster. But this shows that we can play with the best teams.“
Cannes advanced to the fifth place in the table, four points from Arago de Sete.
