Gian Luca Pasini from La Gazzetta dello Sport brought surprising news in regard to the 2019 CEV European Men’s Volleyball Championship that finished two weeks ago!

France

France

According to Pasini, the head coach of France National Team, Laurent Tillie, will have a headache to compose the roster for the European Olympic Qualifier in January next year.

Pasini wrote in his blog that at the end of the 2019 EuroVolley, during an evening, there was a quarrel between the two stars of the “Les Bleus“ – Earvin Ngapeth and Stéphen Boyer. The quarrel even moved from words to physical confrontation! Pasini added that after the fight, the two players no longer want to be in the same team, which brings Laurent Tillie to a very unenviable situation because both are essential for the play of France.

But, let us wait for the further development of the situation. Maybe Ngapeth and Boyer will find a way to settle the disagreement. Recall that France lost the semifinals of the 2019 EuroVolley to Serbia despite playing in front of their own crowd in Paris.
