The 27-year-old Quiroga complemented the Argentine colony in the next French men’s Championship Ligue A, which now consists of 16 players (20 players counting the women’s top division)! He strengthened league’s newcomers Cambrai.

Gonzalo really stood out in youth categories at the tournaments on the South American continent, being awarded MVP and Best Receiver of the U19 continental championship in 2010. He’s is coming from a volleyball family given that his brother Rodrigo was a member of the Argentina National Team (still active) while both are nephews of the 1988 Seoul Olympics bronze medalist Raúl Quiroga.

Last season, Gonzalo spent in Poland, defending the colors of BKS Visła Bydgoszcz.

Ligue A Masculine (men’s league): Nicolás Méndez, Alexis González, Ezequiel Palacios (Montpellier), Sebastián Closter (Toulouse), Facundo Santucci (Rennes), Franco Massimino (Chaumont), Agustín Loser, Matías Sánchez, Luciano Palonsky (Tourcoing), Maximiliano Gauna (Sète), Martín Ramos, Nicolás Uriarte, Lisandro Zanotti, Nicolás Zerba (Narbonne), Matías Giraudo (Nice), and Gonzalo Quiroga (Cambrai).

Ligue A Féminine (women’s league): Bianca Farriol, Yamila Nizetich (Béziers), and Elina Rodríguez and Nicole Edelman (Vandœuvre Nancy).
