Olympiacos S.F.P. defeated A.O. Foinikas Syros ONEX in Game 3 of the 2019/20 Volley League Pame Stoixima playoff semifinals and won the series by a 2-1. This means that the team from Piraeus managed to qualify for the finals that will start on July 9 at the OAKA hall in Athens, where semifinal duels of all four teams already took place. And just like the semis, the final series will be played in the best-of-three format.
Olympiacos, who’s the only of four teams in the semifinals that has the entire squad that competed prior to the break due to the coronavirus at the disposal, will aim for the 30th championship title in their history. Tonight, they were led by Czech opposite hitter Michal Finger (16 points).
