An experienced Serbian opposite hitter Starović completed the 2020/21 squad of France’s Tourcoing.
A 31-year-old opposite hitter, who collected 155 matches for his country’s national team, came to the Ligue A side from Greece’s Panathinaikos A.O. with whom he has just won the national championship. Starović, a one-time MVP of the Italian league, participated at the two Olympic Games (2008, 2012) and won the 2011 CEV EuroVolley with Serbia.
He replaced Brazilian Luan Weber, who failed medical tests and then moved to Italy’s Allianz Milano.
