In a nail-biting opener to Round 25, Cannes pulled off a stunning comeback against Tourcoing, winning 3-2 (25:16, 23:25, 20:25, 25:10, 13:15) on the road. With this victory, Cannes locks in a playoff spot, marking a return to the postseason four years after their last championship title.

Tourcoing came out strong, dominating the first and fourth sets, thanks in large part to Pablo Koukartsev’s incredible 24-point performance. The home team also had the upper hand in blocking, scoring 15 points compared to Cannes’ six. But in the most crucial moments, Cannes held their nerve.

This win ensures that Cannes, the newly promoted side, cannot be overtaken by Paris in the standings. While their playoff ticket is now confirmed, the race for the top seed remains open between Chaumont and Montpellier, both tied at 48 points.
