Tours is heading to the Marmara SpikeLigue final—and they earned it the hard way. In a rollercoaster five-set showdown Tours pulled off a stunning win over top-seeded Montpellier (23-25, 29-27, 19-25, 25-22, 15-13).
It was the kind of match that had fans holding their breath until the last point. Montpellier started strong, but Tours fought back with grit and energy, especially thanks to Guilherme Voss’s key blocks in the fourth set and a huge performance from Ryan Sclater and Alexandre Strehlau, who combined for 30 points.
Now, Tours moves into their fourth straight final, where they’ll face off against Poitiers in what promises to be an explosive derby.
