At the same time, Vandoeuvre Nancy was unstoppable at home, sweeping Chamalières 3–0 to take the top spot in the standings. Over in Le Cannet, Volero needed all their nerve to beat Terville-Florange in another five-set showdown, while Saint-Dié surprised Béziers with a 3–2 victory.

Earlier in the evening, Évreux finally found relief. Backed by their home fans, the team coached by Simon Garel earned their first win of the season, defeating France Avenir 3–1.

Up top, Paris Levallois Saint-Cloud, the double defending champions, recovered from their early stumble against Bordeaux Mérignac. The Parisians took control and won 3–1, now sharing the lead with Vandoeuvre Nancy before the next round on October 25.
