Tours controlled the opening two sets before Montpellier rallied briefly, but the hosts closed out a tense fourth set to secure the win and move to 38 points atop the standings. The victory opened a four-point gap over Tourcoing Lille Métropole and Montpellier, who are level behind the leaders.
Tourcoing stayed in the 1st place race with a straight-sets victory over Saint-Nazaire VB Atlantique, overcoming a second-set deficit to claim maximum points.
Fourth-placed Plessis-Robinson VB earned a routine 3–0 win against last-place GFC Ajaccio, while Chaumont VB 52 collected a long-awaited victory, rallying after a marathon first set to beat Arago de Sète on the road.
