WL: France too strong for Japan, Czech beat Portugal this time

France has celebrated the second win in Pool D, while Czech Republic defeated Portugal in Pool E of the FIVB World League 2014.

The Czech Republic reversed Saturday’s defeat to hosts Portugal with a 3-1 victory (25-23, 25-18, 25-22).

Valdir Sequeira was the game’s top scorer with 16 points.

On the other side France ended their weekend on a high by beating Japan in straight sets (25-14, 25-15, 25-21) for the second time in Pool D. 

Mory Sidibé was teh best scorer with 18 points.
