The French Men’s Volleyball champions Chaumont Volley-Ball 52 secured the setter department for the 2017/18.

Michael Saeta, the University of California, Irvine senior, joined French title holders for his first professional season.

Interestingly, the U.S. prospect tried himself at opposite position in his collegiate career as well. Actually, as it is written in the athletics website of his university, Saeta has split the time on the court in his junior year, in 2016, as setter and opposite.

Thus, by hiring Saeta, Chaumont will have a combination of youth and experience at the setter position as a 34-year-old Cuban Javier González will stay for one more season in the club.
