WCH 2018 M: Germany out – Belgium and Estonia to fight for the last spot from Europe

Belgium and Estonia will compete against each other in the last round of the European Qualifiers – Pool G for the 2018 FIVB Men’s Volleyball Wordl Championship as they both won their matches in the penultimate round in Kotrijk.

There is only one more vacant place from Europe for the World Championship in Italy and Bulgaria in 2018 and Belgium and Estonia will fight for it in the final round of Pool G of the Qualifiers, tomorrow, with the fact that Belgian National Team has the crowd at its side.

In the penultimate round, both teams superiorly defeated their opponents and both did it in straight sets.

Belgium downed Germany, who lost their chance to battle for the place in the World Champs by losing today, by a 25-16, 25-16, 25-17. Bram van den Dries dominated in the attack on the winning side with 19 points, while Simon van de Voorde made six kill blocks. Denys Kaliberda scored 11 for Germany.

As for Estonia, they outclassed Slovakia by a 25-14, 25-17, 25-20 thanks to 17 points (four aces) from Robert Täht.
