GER M: BR Volleys secure spot in playoff finals for 9th time in a row

Berlin Recycling Volleys will play the German Men’s Volleyball Championship finals for the ninth time in a row.

The reigning 1. Bundesliga Männer titleholders and also the third seed Berlin Recycling Volleys scored a 3-0 win, partially 26-24, 25-19 and 25-23, against No.2 seed Hypo Tirol Alpenvolleys Haching in Game 3 of the playoff semifinals. Thus, the team from the German capital advanced to the finals for the ninth time in a row and will play the top seed and biggest rivals VfB Friedrichshafen for the title. The final series will start on April 27.

The Frenchman Samuel Tuia and American Jeffrey Jendryk II from the winning side shared the top scorer role with 12 points apiece.
