The top seed Dinamo Moscow won a decisive game of the 2018/19 Superliga playoff semifinals against No.4 seed Uralochka-NTMK Sverdlovsk region in straight sets (25-21, 25-23, 25-20) to close the series with a 2-1. Thus, the team from the Russian capital who is also a three-time consecutive titleholder will play the national championship finals for the 15th straight season! Dinamo Moscow’s rivals in the gold medal matchup will be the second seed and also top division rookies Lokomotiv Kaliningrad region who swept the series with No.3 seed Dinamo Kazan earlier.
Nataliya Goncharova was the best scorer for Dinamo Moscow in Game 3 against Uralochka with 15 points. Irina Fetisova set up six kill blocks. In Uralochka, Kseniya Parubets scored 15 points.
