GER M: BR Volleys strike back at Friedrichshafen, we have equalizer in Bundesliga finals

Titleholders Berlin Recycling Volleys struck back at VfB Friedrichshafen in the 2018/19 German Men’s Volleyball Championship playoff finals.

The No.3 seed BR Volleys, boosted by 7,309 spectators at their Max-Schmeling-Halle, beat the top seed Friedrichshafen in Game 2 of the 2018/19 1. Bundesliga Männer playoff finals by a 3-2 (17-25, 25-22, 28-26, 21-25, 15-13) to level the series at 1-1.

The American Kyle Russell stood out after 139 intense and exciting minutes of the match for BR Volleys with 26 points, while Georg Klein set up 5 kill blocks. The Pole Bartłomiej Bołądź scored 22 points for Friedrichshafen. Norwegian Andreas Takvam made 4 kill blocks.
