Friedrichshafen made a change in the setter’s position for the next season. The 13-time Bundesliga champions signed and experienced Slovenian Vinčić. The 33-year-old player will replace Czech Jakub Janouch, who is to leave the “Häfler”.
The MVP of the 2015 CEV European League, in which Slovenia won the gold medal, spent the last three seasons playing in the super-strong Polish League, wearing the jersey of Cerrad Czarni Radom.
Earlier, Friedrichshafen extended the contract with Australian middle blocker Nehemiah Mote, while they parted ways with the North Macedonian bomber Nikola Gjorgiev.
