Giannis-Athanasopoulos
The Bundesliga club Stuttgart announced they accepted the resignation of a Greek expert Athanasopoulos and terminated the contract with him by mutual agreement. Stuttgart didn’t hide the surprise when a coach, who has been at the helm of the club since 2017, asked them to leave the post.
Stuttgart had just suffered the elimination from the semifinals of the German Cup from SC Potsdam. The Dutchman Erik Reitsma, who assisted Athanasopoulos, will temporarily take over the bench of the team.
