A wake-up call before the big one! VfB Friedrichshafen dropped the first set at the VC Olympia Berlin talent project but recovered to win 3-1 (20-25, 25-23, 25-17, 25-23) at the Sportforum Hohenschönhausen in the Bundesliga.
Adam Swaczyna started with a heavily rotated line-up with an eye on Wednesday’s clash with the BR Volleys, but the starters had to step in during the first set. The VCO pushed hard again late in the fourth before Friedrichshafen closed it 25-23 to keep their perfect Bundesliga record. Next up: BR Volleys vs Friedrichshafen at the Max-Schmeling-Halle on Wednesday, November 4.
