It was clear from the start that Helmut von Soosten‘s team doesn’t want to lose to Rote Raben for the fourth time this season. They were leading throughout the first set, 0:3, 7:8, 12:16. In the end they got four set points and closed the set 25:23.
Rote Raben realised that HAMBURG won’t give up without a fight so they gave their best in the second set, but that wasn’t enough against the motviated Aurubis that increased their lead 27:25.
HAMBURG won the third set without a fight 25:13.
Renata de Jesus Benedito was the MVP, Vendula Merkova had 20 points, Ciara Michel 16.
