Squad of Vital Heynen defeated Czech Republic 3:0 (25:13, 25:23, 25:20). That could have been assumed after the very first set. Score tells you everything.
With that kind of point difference it was expected that Germany will win other sets easily, but Czech Republic woke up after the break. And, had the lead for the whole time… Until 21:20. Then, everything changed. German team made mini-series 5:2 and clinched second set.
Similar situation happened in final set. Only, Germany was constantly in lead. Czech players resisted till 20:19, but could not do anything more. Squad of Vital Heynen finished this game in style.
