The playoffs in the women’s Bundesliga started with the first matches played on April 5 and April 6, 2022. Hosts were more successful in the first games of the quarterfinals and took a 1-0 lead in the series. The quarterfinals are played in the “best of three” format.
The most interesting was in Schwerin, where the guests from Suhl managed to turn 0-2, but that was not enough to win because in the 5th set SSC Palmberg Schwerin came back, celebrated with 15-9 and won this match 3- 2 (25-18, 25-14, 17-25, 22-25, 15-9). In other matches, the hosts were convincing and opened the series with 3-0 victories.
