The first matches of the Bundesliga playoff semifinals have been played. Allianz MTV Stuttgart and SC Potsdam opened the semifinal series with victories.
In Stuttgart, the hosts were better than SSC Palmberg Schwerin 3-1 (25-18, 25-14, 30-32, 25-17), while SC Potsdam defeated Dresdner SC 3-0 (25-23, 25-22, 25-21) in a match played in Dresden. Matches No.2 of the semifinal series are scheduled for Tuesday, April 19. The semifinals are played in the “best of three” format.
