Despite a shaky start, Friedrichshafen rallied back with strong performances from Tim Peter, Jackson Young, and others, overcoming early deficits to clinch crucial sets. Düren, despite showing promise early in the sets, could not maintain their lead, falling short in critical moments.

The quarterfinal playoffs also witnessed Helios Grizzlys Giesen and SVG Lüneburg securing wins in their matches, setting the stage for intense competitions ahead. Friedrichshafen’s coach, Mark Lebedew, acknowledged the match’s challenges but praised his team’s ability to win crucial points. As the series moves to Düren for the next match, Friedrichshafen looks to secure their place in the semifinals, while Düren hopes to force a deciding match back at Lake Constance.
