
SVG Lüneburg has made history by reaching the German Volleyball Bundesliga Playoff Finals for the first time, defeating VfB Friedrichshafen 3:1 in a thrilling fifth semifinal match. In front of 3,200 ecstatic fans, MVP Xander Ketrzynski led the charge with 31 points, sealing victory in the fourth set.
After dropping the third set in dramatic fashion, Lüneburg bounced back with energy and composure. Coach Stefan Hübner praised the team’s fighting spirit, saying, “Nobody can break these boys. They were incredible.”
