Allianz MTV Stuttgart defeated Skurios Volleys Borken 3–0, but the result was far from effortless. The Bundesliga newcomers challenged Stuttgart in every set, forcing the favorites to fight hard for their points.

With a rotated lineup, Stuttgart took time to find rhythm. The opening set was evenly matched until Lydia Grote secured it 25–23. Borken stayed competitive in the second, showing confidence and sharp defense, but Stuttgart’s experience prevailed again, closing 25–21.

The final set turned into a tense battle. Borken, driven by their home crowd, rallied from behind to lead 13–9 and even reached 22–21 before Stuttgart turned it around. A key block from Lucia Varela and a final strike by Mikala Mogensen sealed the 25–23 finish and the 3–0 win.

In other matches, Aachen showed strong spirit despite a 1–3 loss to Schwerin, while Schwarz-Weiß Erfurt fell 0–3 to VfB Suhl Lotto Thüringen in the Thuringian derby, In Wiesbaden Dresden defeated hosts VC Wiesbaden with clear 3-0.
